Howdy!

Jess and Taylor are the soul of Flower Beds Farm—they’re also warmer than cornbread and more “resourceful” than the Encyclopedia Brittanica Collection. If you have the chance to meet them, you’ll see that their love for the farm and the land runs deep. Flower Beds Farm is their life’s work, and also their home. They live, work and play on the sprawling 18 acres of rich farmland—located on the unceded traditional territory of the Liǧʷiłdax̌ʷ, Coast Salish, K’ómoks, and We Wai Kai First Nations—with their fur and feather babies: Murph, Penny, Remy, and the ducks.

Meet Jess!

Our resident flower nerd and grower, Jess is a force of nature—a leader with a gifted creative mind and a wealth of experience in event & travel management, creative direction, entrepreneurship, and more. Ask her about farming, flowers, frogs, fungi, aromatherapy, or any of her many skills and passions.

Meet Taylor!

Taylor has been a driving force in many small and large-scale businesses, in leadership and consulting capacities. With a formal education in business and a hands-on education in physics and chemistry, Taylor is a bit of a mad scientist—his enthusiasm for projects at the microscopic levels is always evident. He combines cutting-edge technology with tried and true methods in his fields of interest—specializing in spirit and cider production, and other organic fields. That passion also spills over (no pun intended!) into the carbon cycle, beverage, and whatever else catches his attention).
