Head to our beloved local farmers market for the freshest and healthiest foods and produce. Year-round, every Saturday 8.30 am-noon.

Horne Lake Regional Park
With glistening waters, this 105-hectare park and campground is packed full of recreation opportunities for all ages.

Horne Lake Caves
If you have an adventurous soul, you’ll be delighted to find a guided exploration package that suits you and your group.

Big Qualicum Hatchery Trail
At 10.5km, this moderately challenging hiking trail takes roughly 2.5 hours to complete. You could also go birding or horseback riding.
Beaches
Qualicum Beach: Walk on amazing sandy beaches, take in the picture-perfect views, and breathe in the salt-tinged ocean air.
Sunny Beach Public Water Access (Qualicum Bay): This peaceful, sandy beach with stunningly clear waters is protected from surrounding traffic noise, making it ideal for relaxing, swimming, and watching the tide come in.
Parksville Community Park: Known as the jewel of Parksville, this park is a popular spot for recreational activities.
Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park: Majestic old-growth trees, wondrous ocean sunsets, and a pretty sandy beach nestled among mature Douglas fir trees. Also, there’s bunnies galore!
Outdoor Activities
Big Qualicum Falls Hatchery Trail/Qualicum Hatchery Loop: An easy-going 50-min loop trail spanning 3.2km.
Lighthouse Country Regional Trail: Experience the beauty of our accessible coastal douglas-fir forest. With multiple easy loops, 2.5 km of wheelchair-accessible trail, picnic tables, wood carvings, and more, this trail has something for everyone.
Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park: This gorgeous provincial park straddles the Little Qualicum River, incorporates the southern shore of Cameron Lake, and features impressive waterfalls cascading down a rocky gorge, surrounded by lush forest trees.
